The Academy went on the road again today, traveling to Richmond for a variety of activities. First, students visited Maymont botanical gardens, enjoying their picnic lunches in the scenic Japanese garden. The Academy then traveled to the VMFA (Virginia Museum of Fine Arts) to enjoy presentations on Japanese artwork. After a brief tour of the East Asia gallery (and a scavenger hunt), students walked to Carytown to shop and stroll.

All of the pics are great, but the group picture on the bridge is very beautiful.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful pictures. I thoroughly enjoy looking at them everyday; it warms my heart to see my daughter and everyone smiling so much.
