Day 9: Presentations and Party

Today, students from the beginner class taught a classic Japanese folk song (四季の歌) to the intermediate and advanced classes, using decorative posters with the song lyrics to practice their hiragana skills. Each poster represented a season, and the beginner class had accompaniment from musically talented students on the flute and violin. Students also celebrated the birthday of Yamaguchi-Sensei (the leader of the advanced class) with songs, cookies, and cake. Later, students worked on their research projects with the help of Randolph-Macon professors.
